On behalf of the Clark County Medical Society Alliance, we hope you consider becoming a member in our prestigious, non-profit organization. Since 1949, the Clark County Medical Society Alliance’s purpose is exclusively educational and charitable: We uphold the programs of the Nevada State Medical Association Alliance and the American Medical Association Alliance. Also, we work closely with the Clark County Medical Society to assist in those programs that improve the health and quality of life in our community.
Members volunteer their time in the following CCMSA activities: our fall fundraiser, the Holiday Greeting Card Project for local nursing scholarship awards and the Spring Event, benefiting a selected local charity. The American Lung Association’s Asthma Camp for children ages 7 to 13 is the select charity for 2009-2010 year.
Other member activities include a cooking club, book club, medical office managers group, diners club, and a mommy and me playgroup. We have monthly lunches from September to May, offering the opportunity to meet other members, network, form long -lasting friendships. We communicate important issues, events and committees through our monthly newsletter. In November of each year, we publish our updated membership directory, complete with names, addresses, emails, and phone numbers.
No one else better understands the demands of being married to a physician other than another spouse of a physician. The medical community currently has approximately 3,200 physicians living in Clark County. We need to unite to uphold our values and goals for ourselves, our spouses, and families. The Clark County Medical Alliance gives us that opportunity. The dues of $85.00 help to support the local, state, and national organizations. We hope you will come join us!
